Exposing high school and undergraduate students to a high performance computing environment through Internships

Internship Program

Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center (PSC) provides internship positions for undergraduate students who need or would like to obtain work experience and develop valuable skills in a field related to their academic and career interests. The program, which is open to students in all fields of study, helps students understand how computational science is instrumental in whatever field they choose.

Eligibility

The internship program is open to anyone enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program at a college or university. Students work in paid positions and can also earn academic credit for their work experience.

Qualified students must commit to one term and must have a GPA of at least 3.0 out of 4.0. Actual work term start and end dates are negotiated on an individual basis between the student and PSC.
