Cambridge Structural Database

The Cambridge Structural Database (CSD) stores information derived from X-ray and neutron diffraction studies of organics, organometallics and metal complexes excluding proteins, high molecular weight polymers and purely inorganic carbides, carbonates, carbonyls and cyanates.

Each CSD entry contains bibliographic information that specifies the journal reference, authors' names and compound name. Most entries contain cell dimension data and information defining the chemical connectivity of the chemical moieties within the crystal structure. 85% of all entries contain numeric structural data (atomic coordinates).
