The following images and animations represent data from a section of three-dimensional vertically stratified accretion disk simulation on the Cray C90. The simulation shows the complicated structure that arises from turbulence generated in the disk by the action of magnetic fields in the fully-ionized disk plasma. The z direction is the disk's vertical thickness, the x direction the radial direction and the y direction the angular.
